Relaxing at the beach

Fuengirola is well known for its nearly 8 kilometers of sunny beaches. They are well-equipped, both in security and service, and you can relax and rest in them as well as find specially designated areas for windsurfing, beach volleyball and other sports. The seven main beaches are: Carvajal, Torreblanca, Las Gaviotas, Los Boliches, San Francisco, Santa Amalia and El Ejido.

Los Boliches It is the most popular beach in Fuengirola. Next to the urban center.
Las Gaviotas & Torreblanca Both beaches, along with Los Boliches, are those that have better equipment, so they got a quality mark (the European "blue flag"). Less crowded than the latter, because they farer from the town center.
Fuengirola or San Francisco Due to its calm and shallow waters, it is the most suitable for children.
El Ejido Also called El Castillo, for its proximity to the Islamic Castel Sohail. It has recreational boats.
