A stroll in Gran Vía

At over a hundred years old, Gran Vía is Madrid's most iconic avenue. Its construction marked the beginning of the modernisation of the city and the first skyscrapers in Spain. You will find here some of the most eye-catching buildings, like the Metrópolis, the Telefónica building and the Capitol. It's a great place to walk at any time, day or night (Gran Vía never sleeps), and one of the main shopping areas.
