Exploring Axarquía

In the heart of the Axarquía, between the slopes of the Sierra de Alhama, Tejeda and Almijara, there are a handful of white villages that still preserve their Muslim legacy. Arenas, Árchez, Salares, Sedella and Canillas de Aceituno are the most outstanding. They constitute a 40-kilometer route dotted with minarets with brick geometries and arcades, hallmarks of Mudejar style. Your heart will travel to other times.
