Sohail Castle

This Islamic castle, also called Suhayl, is the emblem of Fuengirola (in fact, it's on its coat-of-arms), the epicenter of leisure in the city and one of the most important musical venues in Andalusia. It was built by the Muslims in the 10th century on a hill that allowed a strategic view. Since then, until the 18th century, it played a defensive role. Today it is still a privileged viewpoint, but its mission is the enjoyment!
