Museo del Prado

Visiting museums may not be one of your favorite activities... However, you should know that the Museo del Prado houses one of the most important collections of paintings in the world (more than 7,000) and is one of the jewels of the city. It's rich in paintings by European masters from the 16th to the 19th centuries, including Velázquez, Goya, El Greco, Tiziano, Rubens and El Bosco.

Monday to Saturday: 10:00h - 20:00h / Sunday and holidays:  10:00h - 19:00h / Closed: January 1st, May 1st, December 25th / Limited opening hours: January 6th, December 24th and 31th, 10:00h - 14:00h.

General Admission: € 15 / General admission + official guide (publication with more than 400 paintings): € 24 / Seniors (over 65), members of large families, holders of youth cards: € 7,5 / Young people (under 18), students (18-25), people with physical impairments: Free /  Free access schedule:  Monday to Saturday, 18:00h - 20:00h. / Sundays and holidays, 17:00h - 19:00h.
