Monasterio de Piedra

It means Stone Monastery. This natural park is a stunning scenery made up of lush vegetation and fascinating rock formations created by the erosive action of the River Piedra. A walk of about two hours will allow you to enjoy fantastic waterfalls, lakes and caves. Before a monastery (which today gives its name to the park), there was an arab fortress here.

Monastery: Every day from 10:00h. to 18:00h.

Adult: € 16 / Child (4-11 years old): € 11 / Senior (+65 years old): € 11. The entry includes the visit to the historic garden, the Cistercian Monastery and birds of prey exhibition (March 1 to October 31).

Our tip

You can't miss the Cola de Caballo waterfall which falls 50m to the lake. You can walk below into the hidden Iris cave.
