'Patios' Festival
The 'patios' or courtyards are one of the hallmarks of the Andalusian houses and, very particularly, of the Cordoba houses. They are a legacy of Al Andalus. In May, the patio-houses open their doors in Cordoba to offer visitors an amazing floral spectacle that is the result of the community contribution during a whole year. This unique festival was declared intangible heritage of Humanity in 2012.
