Albarracín

It is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. The medieval houses of Albarracín are as amazing as the history of this Aragonese village, which was an Islamic mini-state during the 11th century. The highest point of the wall (the Andador Tower), some parts of the wall itself, the characteristic reddish plaster that covers the buildings and the remains of the citadel where their rulers lived (the Berber Banu Razin dynasty) are the legacy of those times.
