Castle of Bezmiliana
The castle or Fort of Bezmiliana is the most recognized monument of Rincón de la Victoria. It was built by King Charles III in the 18th century as part of the defense system against the attacks of English and Dutch pirates. However, the root of the Bezmiliana must be sought many centuries before, because this was the name given by the Romans to this area. Today the fort is a cultural center and it hosts exhibitions.
