Malaga's Cathedral

You can see its only tower almost from anywhere in the city. A 85-meter tower that makes this cathedral the highest in Andalusia, and which is the reason for its nickname: “La Manquita”, the one-armed lady. It dates from 1487, when Malaga's aljama mosque, praised by Ibn Batuta in his chronicles, was converted into a Catholic temple. It reached its current renacentist appearance in the 18th century.
