The Flowers alley & others

The 'azucaques' are narrow alleys, with no exit, whose main mission is to provide entrance to the houses. They are typical elements of the Islamic cities. One of the most famous and photographed in Cordoba is the Calleja de las Flores (Flowers alley), for its views of the Mezquita tower.

Other famous alleys The Calleja del Pañuelo (Hadkerchief alley) and the Calleja de la Hoguera (Bonfire alley) can not be missed in your visit to Cordoba. From the latter you will access Los Andaluces Mosque.
When This alley has become one of the must-see visits in Cordoba, during the day, especially in spring and autumn, it is usually crowded. Choose the first or last hours to visit it.
