Welcome to the capital of Spain, where this unforgettable journey begins — a tour that will take you to Andalusia to discover its remarkable Islamic heritage and the beauty of southern Spain.
Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel of the selected category, carefully chosen for its convenient location. From here, you can begin exploring the surrounding area at your own pace, should you wish. As throughout the journey, we will provide you with clear guidance to help you easily find the best halal dining options nearby.
Today, you will discover some of the main attractions of the Spanish capital on a guided walking tour (approximately 3 hours). The tour traces Madrid’s Islamic origins — the current Royal Palace stands on the site of the former Arab Alcázar — and continues through emblematic landmarks such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía.
After the guided tour, you can explore the city aboard a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus (ticket included), allowing you to reach further highlights such as Puerta de Alcalá, the Prado Museum, Las Ventas Bullring or the Real Madrid Stadium, while also taking in Madrid’s main and elegant avenues.
If you wish, you may also enhance your experience with a private vehicle and the services of a Muslim guide, who can accompany you for the rest of the day and help you explore the city from a different perspective.
Your Andalusian journey begins in Córdoba, the Islamic Qurtubah, where Al-Andalus reached its greatest splendour. You will arrive after a journey of approximately two hours by high-speed train.
Accompanied by an expert local guide, you will visit the Great Mosque (entrance included) and uncover the wonders and secrets of the most important Islamic monument in the West. You will also walk through the heart of the former Caliphate city, where highlights include the Roman Bridge, the Calahorra Tower, the ancient city walls and traditional craft shops inherited from Al-Andalus.
After the guided tour, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to continue discovering this remarkable city at your own pace. With the detailed information we provide, it will be easy to choose from the available halal restaurants.
Accommodation in a well-located hotel of your selected category.
Today, a high-speed train will take you to Granada in just over an hour and a half. You will have the rest of the day free to begin exploring this city of immense Islamic heritage and lively streets at your own pace — not in vain was it the last kingdom of Al-Andalus.
If you wish, you can optionally hire the services of a local Muslim guide, with whom you can visit emblematic areas such as the Albaicín quarter (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Granada’s Islamic origins come to life in this historic quarter. At the highest point of the neighbourhood, two emblematic landmarks stand out: the San Nicolás viewpoint, offering stunning views of the Alhambra, and nearby, the Great Mosque of Granada, the first mosque built in Spain by new Muslims since the time of Al-Andalus.
Accommodation at the hotel of your choice.
Get ready to enjoy one of the highlights of this unforgettable journey: the impressive Alhambra. A true masterpiece of Islamic art and one of the most visited monuments in the world. The time of your guided visit will be scheduled according to ticket availability and the availability of Muslim guides. The visit lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours (admission included for a full visit of the monument).
You will then have the rest of the day to explore other highlights of Granada at your own pace. Don’t miss the Albaicín, the historic Muslim quarter and birthplace of the city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may also visit Sacromonte, known for its cave houses and flamenco shows, or stroll along the Paseo de los Tristes, by the Darro River.
If you wish, you can optionally hire the services of a Muslim guide to accompany you throughout the day. It is also possible to arrange this optional extension on the previous day, if preferred.
Today, a high-speed train will take you to Seville, the capital of Andalusia and another jewel of Al-Andalus, in approximately two and a half hours. You will have the rest of the day free to begin exploring this magical city on the banks of the Guadalquivir River at your own pace.
Accommodation in a well-located hotel of your selected category.
Follow your local guide on a walking tour through the highlights of Islamic Seville, Ishbiliya, one of the great capitals of Al Andalus. The Giralda, the old minaret of the main mosque, which is today the symbol of the city. The Puerta del Perdón (Door of Firgiveness) of the Cathedral, which is a remnant of the old Mosque, the Torre del Oro next to the Guadalquivir river, the Royal Alcazar, which the Umayyad governors began to build. You will also see other landmarks of the city, such as the Archivo de Indias (General Archive of the Indies) –which together with the Cathedral, the Giralda and the Royal Alcazar is a World Heritage Site– or the Plaza de España. You'll love it!
After this walking tour you can continue exploring the many charms of Seville.
Today we say goodbye to Andalusia to return to Madrid. After a journey of approximately 2 hours and a half, you will be back in the capital of Spain. According to the time of your return flight, we will organize your private airport transfer.
