Itinerary summary:

Hello Madrid
day 1
Hello Madrid

We will be waiting for you at the Madrid airport (or at the train station, if that is the case) to transfer you to your centrally located hotel. So your arrival will be easy and hassle-free.

We suggest you start by exploring on foot the area near your hotel, which is precisely the most popular: the famous Gran Vía up and down, from the Cibeles fountain to Plaza de España or vice versa, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor... The essential Madrid. By the way, when you walk along Gran Vía don't forget to look at the top of the buildings, some of them are crowned by impressive sculptures.

Check the available options: hop-on hop-off bus, group guided tours or private tours, including Muslim guides.

Don't miss any of the must-see sights
day 2
Don't miss any of the must-see sights

If you didn’t have time the day before to finish exploring central Madrid on foot — Gran Vía, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor — today is the perfect opportunity to do so and even go a little further, visiting the Royal Palace, another must-see. It is in this very area that Muslims founded Madrid, known at the time as Mayrit. A great way to take a break in the city centre is to visit the Retiro Park.

To explore other parts of the city, you will need public transport (metro, bus or taxi), as many of the main highlights are located further away, such as the Real Madrid Stadium or the Las Ventas Bullring. Our city guide will help make this easier.

You have several great options: use the hop-on hop-off tourist bus (with a 1- or 2-day pass), join a regular guided group tour, or choose to be accompanied by a Muslim guide.

Beyond the essentials
day 3
Beyond the essentials

Once you have covered the essentials, you will have an extra day to deepen your visit. If you haven’t done so yet, you may wish to visit the Islamic Cultural Centre — the M-30 Mosque, as it is popularly known — the most important mosque in Madrid. As it is not centrally located, you will need to use some form of transport to reach it.

You can also set aside time for shopping in the city centre, or even visit some of the stylish outlets on the outskirts. We also suggest a half-day trip to Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage city — the historic Islamic Tulaytula.

See you soon!
day 4
See you soon!

All good things come to an end! (Alhamdulillah, the bad things too). We hope you made the most of your visit to Madrid. Depending on your return flight, a driver will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the airport. We wish you a good flight back home.
