Colon Market

Another of Valencia's emblematic markets, this one especially focused on leisure and gastronomy. Valencians and visitors don't come to Mercado Colon so much to buy everyday fruits, vegetables, or meats (though those are of excellent quality), but above all to enjoy its relaxed atmosphere, culinary offerings, and terraces—especially busy on weekends and when the weather turns warm. The space itself is truly unique: a beautiful early‑20th‑century Modernist building, one of the most stunning in Valencia. Here you can enjoy, for example, a delicious horchata.
