Where: Mijas is part of the Málaga Coastal Path (Senda Litoral de Málaga), a major project that lets you stroll along the province’s entire 180 kilometers of coastline, linking all its beaches and towns. Mijas already offers two long sections right by the sea. You’ll enjoy the landscape, nature, and serenity in a uniquely delightful way.

Points of interest: Wooden path: In some areas the coastal path is a wooden platform that allows you to walk comfortably through previously inaccessible places.
Landscapes and nature: The coastal path will allow you to enjoy Watchtowers, Mediterranean dunes, sandbanks, bird watching spots, protected fauna and flora species.
Two operative sections: One, from La Cala to Riviera. The other one, between the beach bars El Capricho and El Juncal. The third one will connect Mijas with Fuengirola town when it's finished. Close to La Cala Wachtower, where the first section begins, you will find a large parking area.
