Castellón-Costa del Azahar

It is the northernmost area of the Valencia Region, in the province of Castellón. A coast full of contrasts, historic villages and kilometers of beaches next to a diverse and natural interior. Its name comes from the orange blossom, which is the flower of the main crop of these lands, the orange tree. Benicarló, Peñíscola, Alcocéber, Benicassim  and Castellón de la Plana are among the most famouse locations.

How to get there

Castellón province has a wide road and railway network which facilitates a good communication with the rest of Spain and Europe. Both the Castellón Airport and the Valencia Airport comprise the good network available to easily access your destination at Castellón area.

When

Any time of the year is good to visit Castellón, although in the  summer months, especially July and August, it concentrates the largest number of tourists, both national and international. This area boasts mild winters the temperature hardly drops below 14º and warm summers with temperatures around 30º. A clear blue sky can be enjoyed here for more than 300 days a year.
