Where: This beautiful area is in El Chorro, about 60 km from the Malaga city, in El Chorro. As well as by car, you can get there by train: El Chorro station is close to the Caminito and there are trains from Malaga, Seville and Ronda.
Opening hours: The timetable, opening dates and any change or modification are going to be established by the company in charge of El Caminito del Rey Path's management, and will be noted at the web page where you can obtain the tickets.
How to get there: There are companies like Travelnatura (www.travelnatura.com) that organize excursions from Malaga city, which leave at 09.30 next to the María Zambrano train station. Check the dates available on the website.
How to visit: The Caminito route is linear, not circular, in a single direction and descending from North (Ardales) to South (El Chorro). It consists of a linear route of 7.7 km (a walk of 2 and a half hours approximately). As it is a linear route, after completing the route and to return to the car park located in the Northern Zone, a shuttle bus is available for € 1,55 / person.
Keep in mind: Children under 8 years old cannot access the Caminito del Rey.
