This mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre were opened in 1992. It is the largest masjid in Spain. As it is situated next to the busy M30 road, popularly is known as Mezquita de la M-30 (the M-30 Mosque). Its interior is inspired by the Alhambra in Granada. The complex of 12,000 m2 is distributed in six floors and includes a school, a library, two exhibition halls, a museum, an auditorium, a gym, a restaurant and a cafeteria.
