The waters of the Darro River, which runs parallel to the street, flow under the ancestral bridges of Aljibillo, Chirimias, Cabrera and Espinosa. You can also see on its left bank the remains of the bridge of the Cadí, 11th century, which connected the Alhambra with the Albaicín neighborhood.
At one end, the Carrera del Darro connects with the Plaza de Santa Ana, near Plaza Nueva. At the other, its prolongation ends up in the Paseo de los Tristes, very pleasant also for walking.
Buses C31, C32 and C34 stops in Darro Street.
