La Madraza

Seen from the outside, a baroque palace, you can't imagine the treasure hidden inside, Alhambra style. Ordered by Yusuf I, it was the first university -medrasa- in Granada (1349). After the fall of the city, King Boabdil agreed with the Catholic Kings to continue being a university, but the promise was short lived. Today it houses the School of Arts. You can admire its octagonal dome and the mihrab.
