How to get there: Zocodover Square also serves as one of the most practical access points to the historic city, which sits on higher ground. Two minutes from the bus station, you’ll find escalators that ‘lift’ you up to the vicinity of Zocodover. If you’d rather use public transport, you can take Line 5, which stops at Plaza de Zocodover.

How to visit: From Plaza Zocodover starts Commerce street, that will take you to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento (City council square) and the Cathedral. It is also the place where most guided routes depart. It's a good central place to tour the city in an orderly way. Here you will find a Tourist Office and, very close, the starting point of the tourist train.
