Since 1994, Mr. Mazzin and his Aladino restaurant have been offering some of the most traditional flavours of the Middle East in Madrid. This Syrian-Moroccan restaurant is located right in the centre of the capital, close to Plaza de España, and features a simple yet authentic décor.
The restaurant is designed in the style of traditional Arab rural homes, with mud walls, long benches with embroidered cushions and handcrafted decorative objects. Perhaps that is why the atmosphere feels so warm and familiar. But the real star here is the food. Among the highlights are the maqlubah, the chicken and lamb kabse, tagines, couscous, makmur and homemade desserts.
